Roy began his career as a Campus Minister in North Carolina. Roy served as Executive Director of Nonprofit organizations, in partnership with volunteers and staff teams to develop the facilities, strategies, and programs in Fort Worth, Amarillo, and Santa Fe.

Roy’s 2nd career began in 2015 with the writing of Willow & Ave. M, the story of a son’s death by a drunk driver and the courage and resiliency of family.

Let Me Tell You A Story is his first collection of stories. Roy is now preparing new writings for a second story collection.
